Yep, we need to sack Bowyer. A 55% win rate is shocking.

    This suggests otherwise.

Proof, you are the English version of Ivor on a message board.

Since Charlton fans were banned from going to games they have had no collective voice.

Although it still formally represents less than 10% of them, the closest thing our fans have to a united voice is CASTrust.
Are they calling for Lee Bowyer to be sacked?

I think Thomas Sandgaard would pay the Trust more serious attention than the various forums and social media platforms.
But until fans return to the Valley to watch games - or gather outside to protest - nobody can claim to represent them.

Bowyer has had nothing but ****e to deal with since he was made manager so personally I’d like to give him this season to show us what he’s about , he’s still got the wage cap to deal with so he’s still restricted unfortunately but fingers crossed he turns it around

Marcus Maddison, just before he injured himself.

Public personal attacks on his own players is wrong, we know Maddison comes with baggage but still signed him. Saying he doesn't care if Maddison is seriously injured is inexcusable and spiteful.

I agree with the anger Bowyer is feeling, but I also agree @The Penguin that him coming out with it on social media is wrong.

The full, uncut strength of Bowyer's anger should be for the dressing room, or his office with a player, one-to-one.
What LB says in interviews for the fans and public must be edited/filtered to at least some degree.

Perhaps Bowyer is feeling that because certain players let him down so publicly, he has the right to call them out in public too.
That is a desperate and hazardous choice in my view.
It indicates he is running out of options.

Having said that, one alternative situation that occurs to me is that behind the scenes, Thomas Sandgaard has assured Bowyer that his job is totally safe for this season, and that TS completely believes in him.
That would chime with Sandgaard's public statement that he thinks LB is the right man for the job.
TS may also have assured Bowyer that if players let him down, it is they who will be gone in the summer, to make way for a big transfer rebuild.

If that is the case, then Bowyer may feel he can attack players directly, causing them either to 'man up' and improve their commitment, or just pussy out.
So the source of his full-on harshness might actually be knowledge of personal security, rather than desperation.
