Just done a search and have seen claims that he is and isn’t related to Gareth. Started at WBA, spent some time at Barca, then joined Villa. He took his goal really well. I liked how he got his body between the CB and the ball to either deter a challenge or draw a red card.
Just loved the way the commentators bigged up Thiago as such a “wonderful player with the vision to unlock a defence”. Not sure about this FA cup. It is really disappointing that fans cannot go to the Third Round ties because it is so dangerous. I have always felt that 3rd Round weekend is one of the best weeks in the football calendar. It is an opportunity to see Saints play non-Premier League teams but also offers the chance to witness upsets. Not happy with 4th and 5th round ties being drawn at the same time. I suppose that this is in preparation for Coronavirus measures.
