Shall we put things in perspective. We battered Stole (look at the stats), but didn't finish the job off. We should have won that game. ON the other hand, you were very lucky to come away with a point, and even luckier to come away with three against your sister club, Norwich.

Stoke will not finiish fourth, and you know it, WUM.

Man United have played two teams just two teams that have dared tackle their players. They beat one of them, then again who hasn't beaten West Brom and they drew with Stoke. They in their next game will definitely be playing a team that will tackle their players, they will not get any space at Anfield. Lucas will follow Carrick and Anderson around like a bad smell. He will annoy, bully and antagonise them. They won't get a minutes peace.
When the away sides central midfielders are denied space, it frees up the space for the home side and deems the opposition sides width and attack useless. The supply is cut off.
Thats why Liverpool will pack the midfield, stick in the spare man, and run riot.

Other than the Spurs match, we've not conceded many at all. And that was with 9 men.

Exactly. Apart from the Spurs game, we've conceded 4 goals in 6 games. Our problem is we haven't been scoring enough, but according to Stewart Downing, Liverpool are on the verge on giving someone a hiding. He's warned Man United of that, I would love it, if it were Man United that Liverpool inflicted a hiding on.

The problem Liverpool will have if they play 5 in the middle, the have no chance to score, where as UTD will just rip down the wings and scare Liverpools defense, Carragher will be in Welbecks/Little peas pocket for the entire game.

Stoke still haven't figured out how to play well in away games, and I think it's down to more than just confidence. There's something about their stadium which transforms one of the worst away performers in the league into one of the strongest home performers. Of course the home support gets behind them, but no team has such a considerable contrast between being ****ing impossible to beat at home, but being so ****e away. It's just too strange.

Funnily enough though, Stoke actually have the thinnest pitch in the entire league, at a whole 7 yards shorter than Old Trafford or the Etihad. That's 6 metres, so it reduces the ability of opposition teams to play with width, and plays right into the hands of Stoke with their ****ty long balls and set pieces.
