Hopefully the next old timer he tries it on has her 4 grandkids waiting in the lounge, and they royally **** him up. Only way to deal with people like that.
I collect and deliver prescriptions in my village and a few of the “senior” people are excited as they are getting their jabs tomorrow. The joy in their faces is great to see.
No one mentioned it in the meeting. Spoke later to a couple of people and they were very shy about talking about it. I think they are quite embarrassed that their country acted like a Banana Republic. One guy tried to make a joke and throw Brexit back at me, but I did point out that although I don't agree with it and nor did 49% of the country, we didn't storm Parliament to try to get it overturned. Nor claim it was a rigged election. We accept losses. That is a democracy. We debate and fall out over it, but that is it and don't go as far as storming the government. After I got off my soap box, it wasn't mentioned again EDIT: Probably should go in Politics.
See Villa v Liverpool is going ahead. Even if those kids get tested today and tomorrow there is no way of knowing if they have been infected in such a small turnover of time. Bizarre call by the FA.
My guess is that infection rates due to Christmas Day are probably now showing in the figures, but I would think not yet showing in the deaths column, in large numbers.
I know we are programmed not to believe the news any more, and there have been a few 'lumps and bumps' in the vaccine distribution, but I think we may pull this off faster than most countries. Probably unpopular, but if we do, credit where credit is due to the bumbling idiots we have in charge.
Agreed, and credit to the govt for using them. Leadership is all about using the correct tools for the correct jobs. Rather than using the total 'tools' we have been lol.
Just glad after the PPE fiasco that some new company like WWW.wedovaccines.com didn’t just appear because they are Hancock’s neighbour or something.
Hunt for fake vaccine fraudster who injected woman, 92, in Surbiton - BBC News Can this **** please be locked up ASAP.* *Or if I was to condone violence, shot multiple times in the groin with an air rifle from close range.
Aside from the sheer wickedness of this, he did stick a sharp object into her arm...could have been very dangerous to introduce foreign material into a frail woman. People taking advantage of a crisis lack souls in my opinion.
All staff are being offered it in the trust (and presumably every other trust). Apparently end of month was pessimistic, had confirmation today that I can book in for it. Programme must be going well. Probably not gonna have it though, I'm not at any increased risk so happy to wait it out.
Newsnight showing the Olympic Stadium, filled to capacity, to highlight what the number of Covid deaths in the UK, looks like. The capacity is 80000, and the death count is heading towards 79000, might even have passed that by the time this is read. https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/n...4nxI5LOyzBC00sYhyHgOvflIp_YHz7XhN-qT5GCZ1UyvU
Touching faith people have in the Armed Forces. The Royal Logistics Corp, renowned among generations of serving soldiers, for their ability to deliver the wrong stuff to the wrong place at the wrong time.
