Tyler Roberts on loan from Leeds anyone? Surplus to requirements there for this season.

Need to move quickly as Bournemouth are apparently interested and the Jacks are also looking for a striker.

Looks a good option to me. Welsh international so knows our guys, versatile, has pace and hard working.

Tyler Roberts would be good fit at City. Has pace and control on the ground - something we lack up front.

In the absence of Moore, Glatzel hasn't shown any real threat, and Mark Harris puts in the effort but with very little end product - mind you that could be through a poor midfield not helping him out when he makes runs.

If we can get Roberts on loan, I'd be pleased with that.

Roberts would be a really good shout if possible.

I see Benkovic haso gone now, so back up CBs now revert to Bamba and Flint (when fit).

Also saw the Jacks have had both Palmer and Gibbs White recalled by the Wurzles and the Portuguese (Wolves) respectively.

Only one fit CB in the squad as Morrison Bamba & Flint are unfit<doh>

    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...s/positive-sean-morrison-injury-news-19572739

So does Harris look for another CB or wing it until Morrison is back?

There’s also some on line gossip about Bamba going north to Boro.

Going by his failure to get in a replacement RB to the only one on the books in the pre season, I’m not holding my breath.

On the issue of RB, there’s been talk of Sang having played right wing back so maybe Harris will give him a go there in the next league game, and let Bacuna replace Vaulks or Ralls in CM.

Please, somebody fix my positivity for me. Shout at me if you have to as I hate being this negative.

Tyler Roberts would be an excellent aquisition but I fear we would ruin him and that could be bad for my country as well as my club. There's very real risk of him coming into a seemingly shambolic set up and that's worrying. Now, if we were to get him AND a new, progressive manager, I would definitely be happier. Oh and a fxxxing right back!

I can see some reasoning on Sang at right back but an occasional game there in Div 2 versus being thrown into the Championship?

Where I think Norwich at home would be his first game. I really can't see that happening.

As for CB, another complete dog's dinner.

I said a few weeks ago that we had a very thin squad - and I don't mean they don't eat much.

Perhaps there is a good youngster to throw in there. Anyone else remember October 1969 when a young 18 year old called Terry Lewis made his league debut at Ninian and marked Rodney Marsh out of the game in a 4.2 win in front of a 30,000 crowd? I was 3 years younger than Terry. He used to come and join us for a kick around on the park. No airs and graces. I never knew why he didn't progress in the game.

No recall clause in Ciaran Brown's loan contract with Livingston apparently. Yet another cock up. At least he has CB experience albeit in Scotland.

Probably a star at Crewe's level and has done well for them. I advocated looking at the lower leagues for players who were keen to step up and are likely to put in a shift to justify the upgrade.

He seems to fit the bill and won't break the bank with only 6 months left on his contract.

Although born in Liverpool he is eligible to play for Singapore and has contacted the Singapore FA to say he wants to play for them. So, possibly another one travelling half way around the world to play internationally.

Looks worth a punt asap. He is a right back, has been playing regularly, apart from a 6 game ban for spitting at an opposition coach last November, and is highly regarded at Crewe who are known for developing good young players.

Was Crewe's player of the year 2018/19 a d in the PFA League 2 Team of the Year last season.

    That's a yes from me.

Ng is pronounced like the last 2 letters of "sing". That will be an interesting chant.

I accept thats the level we're shopping at. There are bargains to be had.
Comes back to earlier posts about footballing style / formation.
Are we just signing bodies in a position or to fit into a strategy?

Got a neighbour who is a crewe season ticket holder. I'll have a socially distanced chat and see what he thinks about him.

Not a surprise. Pity he has never shown his full talents with us but opens the way for Bagan to get more first team opportunities.

Financially, we may be faced with similar one in/out situations.

I'm more concerned about the chef who's trying to create the meal.

Rumour has it that he's got more Michelin tyres than stars.

The urgent signing of Ng is such common sense.

Tutu can play right back or right midfield - the latter of which proved successful when playing in Germany last year with 5 goals and 5 assists.

So, not only would Ng give us a right back, it would enable Bacuna to move back into his best position and give us, when Tutu is fit, someone who can cover and is proficient in both positions. Result - a much more balanced squad.

A no brainer. Get it done quickly. <ok>

Nin, today's WoL article says Derby and Forest also interested. Okay not Liverpool or Man City but we are where we are. He's a right back with good performances and reviews. Doesn't look like Alexander-Arnold or anyone else at that level wants to come to us.
