Yeah really ****. He had his own views on Coronavirus which I didn't share, but the circumstances in which he lost a close family member are utterly tragic.

 

Unless she had COVID that just wasn’t true. As there’s been exceptions for terminal patients throughout.

 

I did wonder that at the time. I thought there were quite well established protocols for end of life visits.

I didn't really feel it was appropriate to challenge him on it though.

He was really ****ish to Ern (iirc) about the death of a family member and used his bereavement as an excuse.
But he was being ****ish about covid from the beginning so tbh I am glad he ****ed off. He was entitled to his opinions but derailed every concersation, mocked other peoples distress and accussed those he disagreed with of being pusdies znd sheep.
