How is anyone meant to know what to believe? It's no wonder people get browned off and disregard rules.
1 in 50 ! Bloody hell. Assuming you live in the middle house in a row of 8 homes, with an average of 3 people in each of those homes, with 8 houses with similar occupancy opposite your home on the other side of the road, at a max, you are likely only 4 houses away from an infected individual. Not a nice thought?
Yeah using 1 in 50 as an example across the whole country doesn't really work at all - 1 in 30 across c8m in London means there's a lot of slack against that fig in other areas. Regardless tho, stay home, stay safe and wear a mask.
Me too. Anyway TC, slightly off topic, Neil Young's sold half his catalogue to Hipgnosis, $150m. Buy some shares then every time you post 'Cortez the Killer'...!
My estranged wife used to mix in Neil Young's father's circle - journalist Scott Young. I've had my share
i must admit ive been forgetting to take the ramipril 5ml during this enforced isolation and since xmas. i have a bp machine and regularly check myself but ive learned to recognise when im having a bout of high blood pressure. its just this flu thing gives you the same pressure in your head and i put it down to that. been taking my bp meds last few days and nose only bled if i blew too hard and then it stopped doing that and now its just the usual blood in the snot from my sinuses. thats my normal flu symptom so nowt to worry about. for those in the know of bp i had a urine infection last summer and in hospital my bp went to 200/126 my normal is 140/80 btw 11 died in hull hospitals yesterday. it isnt going away.
My wife and I have just returned from an appointment at Southampton General Hospital. I have a message for all of the doubters, the conspiracy merchants, the rule breakers. ****ing wake up. ****ing shut the **** up. Get yourself and your mates in line and keep to the ****ing rules. We had good news (ish) today. But the oncologist that we saw told us that the hospital may be unable to deliver treatment due to the impact of the virus on beds, staffing and the danger to patients. The effect for us is that the balance of risk from dying of cancer is lower than from dying from coronavirus and the worse place for my wife is the hospital. So we will not be going back for at least 3 months. To be told by your doctor that seeing him was a bigger risk than not getting treatment is shocking. When my wife was in the General last March, we had to walk past the first ward that a Southampton patient died of Covid. Now whole sections of the hospital are out of bounds. From what we where told, I would think that we actually were lucky. My wife got the treatment she needed and she saw Christmas. If we had been starting the treatment now... NOT A ****ING CHANCE. So take heed all of you doubters, conspiracy theorists and rule breakers, you will have blood on your hands. If any of the above want an argument about it, pm me and I will give you my mobile number, ring me and I will tell you in no uncertain terms what I really think as this post is just the polite version.
