I know professional sport is unaffected up here, so imagine it's the same in England. However, as there's an outbreak involving Fulham players our game may not go ahead as scheduled
Covid in England: Professional sport to continue as government announces national lockdown https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/55534762 "Following Monday's announcement by the prime minister, this week's sporting fixtures in England are set to go ahead as planned. Not really. As Boris would say "we erm erm erm erm had to evaluate the erm erm erm scientific advice before erm erm erm doing the right thing at the right time".
No no no, schools were safe on Sunday morning, Johnson said so! This goes beyond incompetence. He really has to go, for the sake of peoples lives. I wish the Tories would replace him asap. It's quite extraordinary that his own party put up with this shambles of a man. Should really keep a list of all the lies he says.
Is the uk going to have a proper lockdown this time Have all airports been closed Will returning citizens be quarantined Just essential workers working all non essential businesses closed Etc etc
So, to sum up, the NHS is within 3 weeks of collapse and we are dependent on staying away from each other to try and avoid this situation while AZ make as many vials of vaccine as they can and the NHS prepares to stick it in lots of peoples arms. ****ing hell, pretty grim. We can tell by the amount of traffic around tomorrow how seriously people are taking it.
A few shops shut, kids not at school and people will do what they like. Trust evaporated a long time ago, more the pity.
