Schools are definitely safe he said this morning, it’s just the mingling of kids from numerous different households that’s a problem, but the schools are defo safe, it’s important to understand the distinction apparently. Genius stuff.

Fast forward 8 hours - schools are to be shut.

What a ****show.

 

I almost feel sorry for him,in his mind he's doing his best.......He's just totally out of his depth here.

He's not out of his depth, he's an indecisive coward.
He could just ask his advisers what to do and get on with it. That would involve making a decision, though.

No. The people setting them won't, so why is anyone else going to?
That's one of the major problems. The messaging has been weak and inconsistent the whole time.
You can't tell everyone one thing and do another and expect to be taken seriously.

They're **** scared of the south african mutation of the virus,which may well be here somewhere.

 

AFAIK they are not concerned that any of the variants are resistant to the vaccines though.

some researchers are worried about the Oxford vaccine not neccessarily working against the SA variant though right now that is a distant worry .

 

Let's just nuke South Africa and be done with it.
