You beautifully missed the point where you came 5th in a 3 horse race last season...Slabhead, as you call him, help united gain 12 points on you it just 11 games so it's a pretty safe bet to say that signing him cost you and gained united a CL spot. The infrastructure may or may not help...I have no idea tbh. I thought that Arsenal going from a 42,000 stadium to a 60 000 stadium would mean they would able to financially compete by bringing in more money (just as united did raise their ground capacity to 70,000 from 50,000 in stages) but Chelsea's and City's take overs changed that. To claim Chillwell is ****e is patently silly...as for inflated prices that was the unreality of football in the premier league until Covid hit.
See Joey Barton has left Fleetwood. as an alternative to Bruce would NUFC like to see Barton bring some fight to the club, not on match days, just fights in general. Horrible **** he is.
Ohhh just checked score How do Saints fans feel about this? I know Liverpool is most of them mans second team
I have never said Chilwell was ****e ... I did say he divided our fanbase ... I reiterated that I always rated him ... The end of the season was disappointing - but not totally surprising given the injuries we picked up ... missing out on a CL place, whilst also disappointing was never the be all and end all - our young squad has likely benefitted much more from a very positive Europa campaign so far in contrast to probably falling out of the CL completely or into the Europa ... Comparing our injury ravaged Covid impacted end of season fall off to the failure of your full squad of 'title chasers' to both catch us and then being compounded by the ignominy of also getting pipped by the Goons is rather funny ... there is no trophy for claiming a CL spot unless you win the title ... as you well know
How is playing against Eastern European factory workers better for your players than playing against the best teams in the world? How does that logic work in any sport?
Are you lot all ****ing wired up wrong or something? What possesses somebody to want a team that are marginally in front of them, to win? Fosse saying playing ****e is better for players than competing against the best and now this. Lol.
Bigger picture, who are we likely to be competing with at the business end of the season? Therefore, Southampton to drop points is preferable
