At the moment I cant see Tim Sherwood being any worse than Holloway, McLaren or Warburton. We are a selling club, who shop in bargain basement, we are not exactly going to attract a high calibre manager, not that I know who they are anymore. It could take an unproven guy to work wonders, it could take a someone with a poor reputation who has learned from past mistakes, it could take an unknown foreigner to impose his beliefs etc. As with anyone we may appoint (if we do) only time will tell.

We need people with the skill and nerve to find a manager like Graham Potter, when he started his professional managerial career in Sweden. People like Les, Hoos and Ramsey are a part of the old school, there is zero chance of them appointing someone exciting we have never heard of, because they are fishing in a very small pond of people they already know. If they really do have a ‘QPR way’ which is meant to be followed at every level of the club in terms of style and attitude, then they need managers who buy into that, which is not the way managers seem to work in this country, demanding full control in return for zero job security.

I have no hope that a new manager will bring sustained improvement in results within this management structure.

I cant really argue with any of that

A totally different direction is probably what we need right now, instead of the same old names with the same old ways.

Infact, of all the names I've read regarding a managerial post, Barton would be top of my list. A player just out of the modern game, seeing how its progressed from the days of the dinasour. Doesnt take any **** and demands a lot in return.
