Was hoping he didn't play tonight for that very reason- blasted internationals... Does that mean he returns to his parent club thus effectively ending the loan till he's fit again?
Gutted for Waggy, looked good when i saw him play and added something to the team. I wish him a speedy recovery. Shame that he can't continue to prove the couple of people who wrote him off in that 'will waggy be a good signing' thread wrong.
That's not Leicester's fault, that's ours. We've experienced this before. If we borrow a player from a competitor, don't be surprised if when the deal expires and we are still competing with them, they turn round and refuse to renew the deal. Waghorn's start has been promising, but he has far from proved he is going to be the striker we all hope he can be. We can still make another emergency loan until the fourth thursday in November when the loan window closes.
Gutted, and that doesn't describe it enough. Hopefully we will get him back, and he will play a big part in our season. But for now, I can see us now dipping into the loan market and finding an un-tested player from a premier league team, or someone searching for first team football, Simon Cox from WBA?
8 weeks? Even if that's the best - he's going to just be coming back as the Christmas block is beginning. It's going to be hard for him to be coming back just as the games get as frequent as that. What do you reckon? Will we stick by him - or will we be back into the loans? God I feel awful writing that.
He's on a long term loan until January so we'll be paying his wages. Emergency loans can be ended outside windows, long term loans can't be so it's no effect on things once he's back fit. In the meantime an emergency loan might be a possibility if someone in the PL is looking to give someone a month out for some reason, ooh Tevez
DONT PANIC - REMAIN CALM ALL IS WELL. ffs....its only a hamstring and they happen all the time. until such time as he returns to city and NP issues a health bulletin i shall reserve judgement on how long he will be out. he pulled up straight away and was carried off. he is young and may heal with help quicker than anyone thinks. danny welbeck was back sooner than they said. o0k waggy mrk.2 may well miss the brighton game but may well be back for the watford game. as of now nobody quite knows. its a shame for waggy mrk.2 but its not the end of the world. so assuming waggy is out of the brighton game that gives an opportunity to another. with the Where 2 Play Koren debate rumbling on this may have the answer. play koren off fryatt in the centre and bring back Mckenna if fit. 4 - 4 - 1 - 1 if you like. job done.
Liam Cooper is also injured. http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfi...per-could-be-out-for-a-month-86081-29553550/?
