Slightly astray from the topic, I was watching Soccer Saturday this weekend, and Jeff Stelling was talking to Paul Merson, who was expecting a call anytime from Mrs Merson, I assumed from the convo because she was expecting a baby. He's 52 ffs. When the kid is 18, he'll be 70! Don't know anything about his Mrs but I believe she's only in her 30's. It's his third wife, he's an ex alcoholic, who's also had trouble with drugs.
My main point was when the kid is 18, daddy will be more like your old grandad. My second point was how does an ex alcholic with two previous failed marriages pull a girl 20 years younger than him.

whatever mate, maybe i didn't read it correctly.... I'll keep fooling myself, and just work towards my yearly target. I'm about 2k behind my set target, so will just crack on, not in control.
Anyway, any of you lot sent your kids back to school today ? My little un is at primary school and mercifully I live in an area with low covid infections. But loads of folk calling for schools to be closed ...
Karen from Facebook has said it’s not safe for her little Jonny to go to school, so she’s keeping him home. He’s currently outside playing with his mates as she can’t have him under her feet
Yep. One of the kid’s mums in the WhatsApp group my wife is in said their kid had Covid around beginning of December and was self isolating for 2 weeks etc. It’s one of our little un’s closest pals and ours had a cold around the same time that we are now convinced was Covid that she caught from her pal. Impossible to track in kids at school without testing as one of the main symptoms for kids is runny ****ing nose
If your kids are like mine (and 50 billion other kids) then they are always coming home with snotty noses and coughing in your eyes. How the **** are they supposed to test millions of kids with no symptoms anyway, it’s a ****ing minefield. I’m just going on the presumption that down here we have very little infections, but that’s just a presumption tbh as like you say, most kids are asymptomatic anyway.
Yeah I think we’ve got an infection rate of about 1/450 at the minute so I’m gonna say we’re ok for now. Convinced I’ve had a dose anyway, been ill about 5 times since March and I’m only usually ill at Christmas and on my birthday.
I aint really been following this but if it's the kids who are spreading it we might just have to cull the kids. To save lives.
