so all the refs get a share which makes me wonder as to why we always get the less experienced refs

The other rumour is the summit between Saudi and Qatar taking place on Tuesday. A softening of tension would see Qatar stop any opposition to proposed Saudi moves. The takeover is a small part of that granted, but BEin has directly influenced. They could very well back off if the Saudis give assurances in respect of wider Qatari IP rights.
