Good man management, bit of public praise to boost confidence. We don't know the details of Fraser's problems but at his best an England contender. I trust the manager to do what's needed to bring him into first team contention.
One thing we will miss is Alex's ability to claim crosses. Although Liverpool aren't a particularly tall team with their absentees so maybe not a bad game for Fraser.
Welcome back Fraser (No timing is "good", but this is the least bad timing. The Xmas week is behind us, and Fraser presumably would have played in the FA Cup any way. So hopefully it's just tomorrow which McCarthy misses.)
That's a fair point. They don't tend to cross it too much which might help him. Probably would have been worse against West Ham.

He's out with an ankle injury. I think he'll be available for selection again (for Stoke) later this month.
