No. These managers and the teams losing week in week out mean we may have a decent chance of surviving. Which means a decent chance of new owners.
Ashley isn’t on the plane, he couldn’t fit!! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
It’s called cognitive dissonance. This years revision of the dictionary will see it defined as “Geordie belief in a takeover due to plane spotting.”
It’s really not. That plane has landed in Luton countless times. If Ashley, Staveley, Reubens and Yasir all head into the Grosvenor, or DeMarcos office, within an hour of each other, then maybe it’s interesting.
They both were in the Maldives then left at the same time I think that's an interesting coincidence personally.. Its perhaps just that a coincidence, but there's so many of these coincidences.
There's been dozens of these "coincidences" and nothing is changed. At best, Ashley is aiming to open up the PL to clear the path for Staveley to approach Saudi's again, who already indicated they're no longer interested. The arbitration result will be widely publicised and nobody's having cosy chats with this fat ****er about taking over the club. I think there was even some reliable commentary back in June/July that Ashley wasn't interested in talking plans with prospective owners. He'd never operate in that way, he's far too much of a complete ****ing selfish knobhead.
They came back to the table and were expecting it do go through the Tuesday Ashley threatened legal action. There's been countless reports that pif ARE still there from people that have proven they have good sources... Caulken, burt and Kennedy... I feel like people are ignoring everything significant and focusing on the "Oh well its not happened do nothing changed argument". The situation is quite simple... All 3 parties are determined, so once arbitration is won and nufc are safe it will happen..
The key is legal separation. Assuming that Ashley is seeking a declaration of separation that is legally binding, then it is safe to say if given, the takeover then becomes a formality.
