    Died yesterday. Only 49

Rapper with an edge. Dark n gritty complex lyrics. Also released loads of stuff under different monikers. Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah, Metal Fingers (as a producer)

Check out Madvillany collab with Madlib, banger of an album.

St Michael’s mount. Think the castle was built in the 1700’s. The mount is a natural feature though and used to be used as fort to store Tin back in the Iron/bronze Age, when the Cornish would trade with the phonecians and seafarers from the Mediterranean.

Yep. There’s a walkway across at low tide and an amphibious that takes folk across at high tide.

Local spectator sport is watching tourists make the 1/4 mile walk across the slipway just as the tide is coming in. By the time they reach the other side they are wading across carrying their shoes and socks and giving granny a piggy back.

They are ‘twinned’ and if you’re into that kind of thing, apparently they line up with ley lines.

Isles of Scilly are beautiful. The local paper does vouchers for cheap flights there in Feb/March. So we usually hop over for a day trip.

amazing snorkelling over there. The water is crystal clear and on the leeward side of the islands the sand is white like the Caribbean. It’s a very special place and well worth a visit.

If you don’t mind camping, I’d go for that option as the guest houses are ££££
