Okay mate, I'll get the ball rolling. (With all due respect) There are too many w****** on here who know f*** all about football.
I think the sending off was a big turning point as first 15 mins of second half we (Hull) were really poor. We missed some good chances, Thought you were going to score from a set piece but you didn't create much in open play. Thought the refereeing was a bit odd but stupid of Pratley who is an experienced player to get sent off. All the best - let's hope we can be back in grounds soon.
I think we need to see what is pulled together this week with outgoing and incoming. Bogle has known for weeks that he is just filling a space until Schwartz arrives and there are possibly others in the same position. I can imagine that it is difficult to get the best out of players who know they are on borrowed time. No matter how the squad was talked up at the start of the season, the majority were free agents that were available late in the window when the transfer embargo was lifted. The best ones had been snapped up. Others already at the club triggered contract extensions because, presumably, they could not get better deals elsewhere. It's silly for people, particularly on ITTV, to say that Bowyer and Gallen messed up in the last transfer window and should have gone after various named targets. There is no evidence at all that any of the players named were a) available once the embargo was lifted, b) interested in joining Charlton and c) willing to work within the remaining salaries allowed. If new players of a higher calibre do come in but there is no improvement then I think that will be it for Bowyer. However, I want to see what he can do with a clear window that has only the restrictopn oidf salaries cap. I would like to see how he gets on with players that have the ability to work at the levels he expects.
I’m not sure about that, quite a few have turned on him today. There comes a time where you can no longer justify the indefensible. His comments after the game were those of a man who’s mind is now totally scrambled. “Hull scored on the break” ???? It should have been 5-0 at half time.
I am better than Bogle. I am not one for wanting a manager to be sacked but Bowyer has been poor for over a month now. Let’s see where we are after the transfer window has closed.
Online criticism is one thing, matchday support is another. Upper north would feel a duty to get behind the manager and team. So would the Nw quadrant. Even the West stand would rattle their bovril flasks in support.
They are the same fans. I know a few in the North Upper & North Lower who also post on Twitter, and now want a managerial change. Eddie Howe, the Cowley Brothers, Paul Cook ....you can guarantee that Sandgaard will be aware. My only concern would be if TS brought in an inexperienced Danish coach.
