Next time you do wings deep fry them. Cut into the two pieces. Toss them in a small amount of flour, cornflour and baking powder and salt. Deep fry them then whack the bbq sauce in a frying pan, heat up and reduce a bit then lob the wings in the reduced sauce. My current favourite is buffalo sauce. Made my own once but for the cost of making it was cheaper to just buy th sauce.

Went to a Gumbo shack the other day where they do their wings like that.

It’s the best way to make them. I’ve made my own bbq sauce and buffalo but it’s cheaper to buy it. With the bbq sauce I have added bourbon and chipotle chilli flakes . I do like a chicken wing night. Tried a Chinese style one once with honey and soy. Was ok. Best two coating are buffalo and bourbon bbq ones so just stick with those.

I use loads of chipotle in my cooking. Love it with basically everything.

When you make epic Yorkshire puddings like I do, the sausages get hidden away

Pack of butter, a bottle of franks and cayenne isn’t the most cost effective way to make wing sauce. Bit miles better than pre made.

    Soft shell or cripsy ?

Could use yoghurt instead of sour cream.

Best Tacos I ever had was on the pier at Ventura at a place called C-Street. Long right hand pointbreak surf spot. Ride a wave all the way to the pier. Climb the steps and right there is an amazing Taco shack <ok>

Did a beef dinner yesterday but too busy to take pics, I've cooked down the leftovers so that it's now all soft and pulled and will add to some pasta.
