It's a mixed lineup, in my opinion.

Assuming that Davies is playing at fullback and not centre-half, then it looks like a fairly balanced 4-3-3.
No Reguilon or Aurier makes the backline more defensive, but Winks instead of Sissoko suggests we'll try to keep possession more than usual.
Whether that's a good idea against a Leeds side that presses high and plays very aggressively remains to be seen.

You all know my view on a certain someone starting so there’s that, lol.

The 60th minute sub will tell us a lot about how we approach it too I reckon, although I suppose it’s also dependent on what the score is. If it’s Sissoko for Tanguy it won’t go down well unless we’re about 4 goals up - which ain’t happening. If it’s Vinicius or possibly even Dele, it’ll at least look like we’re sending on the personnel to go for it and grab the win.

Best of luck to both teams and may the best side win.

Think we (Leeds) might get something today which would be fantastic.

Win, lose or draw though it's just football and should be enjoyed as a blessed relief from all that is going on around us <ok>

but you see the thinking behind picking Winks in theory?

I reckon Jose tells him to pass forward and start the break...will he or won’t he is a different thing imo

Not really. Two CMs with zero creativity isn’t great and Winks doesn’t have the work rate of Sissoko to help out defensively. I’d rather give Harvey White a go there. Or Dele in the ten with Tanguy deeper. Or Vinicius up top, Kane in the ten, Tanguy deeper. Seriously, anyone but Winks, lol.

Is it a bad thing that, if we score in the first half, I'm willing VAR to rule it out so we get some actual football in the second half?

For all the **** I’ve given Dele though I’d have him in an XI over Winks any day of the week, especially in a home match against a newly promoted side. He’s more likely to make something happen. Winks and Hojbjerg is almost as bad as Winks and Sissoko for me.

Good break from Leeds, no one picking up the runner, another warning.
