The best thing about the Fulham match is we were 2-0 up at half time, which is the exact sort of game where we should be sitting back for 45 minutes...

Had a choice of which game to take my (then little) girls to...went to the boxing day game...thought I had picked well <laugh>
That season I went to see us play:
Arsenal (prem), villa, Getafe (jols last match) blackpool (carling cup and Ramos first match), Alberg, Derby, Eindhoven, wigan, fulham, Arsenal (carling cup), Chelsea, Boro, Bolton and slavia praha.
    15 games...57 goal (36 for 21 against)
Two 4 all draws, two 5-1 wins and 2 4 nil wins plus a 3-2 win after being 2 down.
    That season we also had a 3 all draw, a 3-2 loss, a 2 all draw a 6-1 win plus the 6-4.
Say what you want about Ramos...it weren't half nerve wracking <yikes>

Imagine the horror as the clocks strike midnight and people realise that, while countries such as New Zealand and Japan are allowed to leave 2020, countries like the UK, US, Brazil, Sweden and India have to go back to the start and do it all over again

They've saved that for a tax exile, instead.

I'm sure all the UK tax Lewis Hamilton avoids paying, is
legitimately brought back into the UK to fund activities
relating to the disadvantaged in the Stevenage manor,
    "BlackLivesMatter" etc ...

I went to a Sportsman’s Dinner many years ago and he was guest speaker and was very very funny.
To think he lost his job for having an affair highlights just how much times have changed.
    RIP The Doc.

And in fairness quite an objective and accurate pundit.
Of the Ossie 1994 era, I remember he said after the Sheffield Weds game :

I can see a few teams putting three past Spurs,
but there won't be many that Spurs score four against.

He did have an affair with the wife of another club employee, to be fair. Didn't seem to affect some other figures in the game, though... <whistle>
Went on to marry her and remained married to her until the day he died. RIP. Did well to reach 92.
