So basically Fulham have asked for the game to postponed. Giving them a chance to get in new recruits to help them in the new year. Now seems like the time to put in a two-four week breaker.
He's got you figured out now, mate. Permanently in a state of sale keeps the punters both at bay and in the stands (a relegated club can't be sold, right?). Being for sale means he's always got an excuse for not investing. Notice the advertising revenue he was supposed to be paying has disappeared and to paraphrase Mike's 'brain' here, "well, I'm selling the club, ain't I? why would I spend money on it?" Big name manager or structure for progression? "Why would I do that? I'm not going to be here next year*...." He's vindictive. He's petty. He's ignorant. He's a liar. The fans threatened his family - there is plenty of reasoning for him to carry this crap on, and the stoic UK public continuing to buy from his tat shop means he's not desperate to sell anymore. He's even managed to turn some fans WITH him, in this "fight" against the EPL. I mean, Keith Bishop is not even in the shadows anymore, he's front and centre - his bloody job is PR, that's what he does for a living. I'm going to keep ignoring the "facts" and will leave my cynical hat on for now.
I understand he's an arsehole, but he definitely agreed to sell and he wants out imo. The man wants his 340 million because he knows it could be another 14 years before anyone rich enough becomes interested never mind paying what he wants. I firmly believe that if arbitration is won it'll get done swiftly unless of course we go down.
Burnley’s takeover is official this morning. Just in time to buy players. Ours however hangs in the balance and the QC who is our saviour has enough time to make enough bread to sink a ship! Funny that eh!
As the captain has pointed out previously. This takeover will not effect the top 4. Spurs and Arsenal should finish higher than Burnley most seasons also so it's no threat.
I wonder if the PL will actually try and defend themselves against MA. Imagine if they pulled all sorts of crap out of the bag about MA.
I'm super confident that this takeover is going to go through... The plan imo was always to delay and they're close to the end of the road where delays are concerned. The thought pif would give up or hoped they would. The games up in a few months maximum
