Time for the garam masala and salt...water on the edges means it still needs reducing so lid back on to allow the new spices some time to fuse
So next time make a plain risotto, onion garlic celery finely chopped and cooked down until soft, add the rice add a glass of white vermouth (white wine will do) cook and stir this will start the starch coming out of the rice. Then add the stock bit by bit and stir often. Once done, big knob of butter, shrooms and spinach stir then cheese, stir, cover and leave for a full 5 minutes.
Mrs is pregnant, we don’t have any tinned plum toms. so scrambled egg and beans have had to go on fry up for dinner. Saves it with two slices of toast covered in best butter.
Yeah that's what I do. First bit anyway. Can't go adding your shrooms at the end otherwise they won't cook properly. And I've added a knob of butter at the end, so chill
