Funny that. It was obvious at the start of December that that was the case. Its the asymptomatic cases, and the fact that it now turns out that kids can carry it which has led to this surge in my opinion. Shame they didn't shut the schools a week earlier.
I don't usually engage in pulling people up on threads like this but DH4 that is the biggest load of crap you've spouted out on these political based threads and to be honest that takes some doing. The laughing face doesn't excuse what you've said and whilst I defend Boris from time to time I'm not blinkered in my thinking that him and his government have got it all right just like every other countries government as mistakes have been made world wide.
Oh great, schools in most at risk areas are to close next week, but stay open for children woth key worker parents or vulnerable children. So, by Monday, school leaders need to: Establish exactly which children fit into these categories. This is bloody difficult, lots of parents will lie about their occupation. A list of key worker definitions needs to be provided by the DfE (last time this included pretty much every occupation). Information needs to be disseminated to staff and parents Remote learning needs to be planned and set up. Then on Monday, the teachers will need to deliver lessons to the children in school, and at the same time deliver online video lessons to those staying at home. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail will describe teachers as pathetic, lazy and betraying the children of this country.
You mentioned me first, in fact you keep doing it hoping to get a response. I couldn't care less what you think about me to be brutally honest. Join your pals on ignore
I put on earlier mate that 3 news outlets were saying the NHS was expecting a massive influx of COVID patients and don’t think they will be able to cope and then on the BBC 1 I think they said they were dismantling the nightingale hospitals so to be honest mate I haven’t a bloody clue what’s happening although we have just been dropped into tier 4
Are you sure mate, surely that's impossible ... ... a third of the adult population in a couple of days?
Great news about the Oxford vaccine. H'way the roll out for the vulnerable and front line workers. Government have ordered enough to vaccinate 55 million folk, which is pretty much our adult population so at least some good news for us all.
Great news mate, hope at last but it'll now get much worse before it gets better ... ... we should now do a deal to sell the vaccine to the Chinese and make back all the money we've lost
On a serious note I think at last count we had accrued debt of £47k for every man woman and child in the UK so far.
We certainly should not buy anything medical from them if the story about "The Reunion" this morning is anything to go by.
