Off Topic Xmas Dinner Winner

I hate NY Eve so it's a compromise for Mrs luv where we usually go out for a meal and drinks on NY Day but that's not happening for obvious reasons.

 

What obvious reasons?

 

There's a Bond film on TV.

It's a weird time to go out, earily quiet. The people working are usually hung over and quiet in every thing they do. I love it. A bit like a post apocalyptic meal.

 

Like going out on February 15th. Much better than being surrounded by **** couples who hate each other on the 14th.

 

So, anyone got any plans at all then?

Just making some more mulled cider, going out for a walk in the sticks tomorrow.

Actually meeting another family, so will probably be shouted at by someone despite trying to find somewhere as remote as I can. The idea that we're all just supposed to stay inside is insane as far as I'm concerned.

We'll do a Zoom then in the evening. Bit clichéd but not like we can actually have people round.

Quiz and ****.

 

Zoom call, buffet, wine. That's it.

 

Same same. Although we're having curry.

 

Just polishing off the rum.

Not gonna lie, prefer the Captain Morgan spiced to the Plantation. It's decent with coke zero and a slice of lime.

 

That's surprises me.

It's got a creme soda taste to it i like. An easy drink, not mad strength either.

Will order another Plantation though, those Dark and Stormy's are very nice.

 

Yeah suppose I am but that's life innit.
