"But the decision will leave many Germans scratching their heads as they wonder how the UK has come to have a leader that leading German news show Tagesschau describe as a "cocky troublemaker"." “Europe is in for a turbulent autumn,” wrote Schindler in the latest issue of Spiegel magazine, adding: “Johnson may have inexhaustible charisma, but he doesn't have a plan – only an apparently unshakable belief in himself. But how far will that take him?”
Well he’s prime minister of the UK so he hasn’t done to bad, how far has it took Schindler, news paper editor bit like Peirs Morgan.
I don't think a couple of media headlines speaks for all the German working class men and women. If Roger is living amongst these people then I'd believe he has a better understanding than any of us...
My main point is people were bigging Germany up and sadly they're starting to struggle, big time. Once it starts to spread there's only so much governments can do to stop it.
Some people who are living in areas where there is hardly any or none at all don’t realise how lucky they are.
I think he got a rollocking the other day of Starmer because he’s not keeping the toilets as clean as his predecessor did.
my neighbours are a fireman policeman local polotician para medic tv abonoment tec. there are 20 i talk to regular, the para medic told me whats really going on , the politician told me they will stop with the hard-line as their arses will drop if we go on a hard exit, the EU budget was made with the 17 bill British contribution, without it they are ****ed no country wants to help fill the hole, the banks use London for the guarantees of the bonds, the car industries will see thousand unemployed, they have seen the effects as the British Army pulled out , German jobs around the camps decimated, the German economy is hovering on the Brink of recession
Merkle's liberal policies have decimated Germany, that's why AFG alternative for Germany is going strong and 2 other new conservative groups on the rise ,Sweden has kicked its lefties into touch after years of rule, Denmark now has a conservative gov who are a bit too far right now and have put all illegal migrants on an Island that was used for infectious diseases. if people think its bs i can put up the facts from the local papers but even when confronted with the truth some just do the Ostrich
+++ 11:46 Spahn: "Numbers show how brutally this virus still strikes" +++ Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn sees no possibility of ending the current lockdown in view of the high number of corona deaths and infections. "1129 todays deaths leaves families will experience this turn of the year in mourning," says the CDU politician in Berlin with a view to the currently reported deaths in connection with Corona. "These numbers show how brutally this virus still strikes." One is still very far from normality. "So I don't see how we can return to pre-lockdown mode in this situation." ive translated it to English for you but it never translates perfectly due to local dialects

An Island for ‘Unwanted’ Migrants Is Denmark’s Latest Aggressive Anti-Immigrant Policy On a cold December night, Inger Stojberg stood in an overlit auditorium in Vordingborg, eastern Denmark, and explained why the Danish government had chosen nearby Lindholm Island for its new detention center for rejected asylum seekers. Although she made it clear from the outset that the government would not revoke the proposal (and sure enough, it was approved three days later) one citizen after the next tried to convince her it was a poor decision, drawing on everything from its impact on property values and tourism to what it would mean for locals’ safety. But many in the audience of more than 700 thought something even more important was at stake. “I came tonight because I don’t think this is a decent way to manage these people,” said Marianne Rasmussen, a teacher from the nearby town of Præsto. “It’s not who we Danes are.” Immigration became a thorny political issue throughout Western Europe in the wake of a record influx of migrants from the Middle East and Africa in 2015, but the split over Lindholm Island suggests the question has taken on unusual dimensions in Denmark. The prosperous Nordic country of 5.8 million stands out among its neighbors for its reluctance to integrate even comparatively small numbers of foreigners. It granted protection to 2,365 people in 2017, compared with Sweden’s nearly 28,000. https://time.com/5504331/denmark-migrants-lindholm-island/
Funny how people disappear when confronted with what they don't want to hear THE TRUTH. A few people on here think i have an axe to grind ,far from it, i would suggest its them that keep pushing this narrative about BJ they are so far left they hate the others view points, and go out of their way to prove its wrong. News flash in their view it always will be, and even when confronted with the truth, still continue on with the same narrative and disrupt the thread, I have kept off thread bashings for some time now, apart from the last few days, its time now for a sticky on politics, So those with the massive left view can post their drivel and be hit with counter arguments. Could a mod put this into effect so the squabbling can be done by those who like to distort the truth, away from the posters who are sick of it.
There's no point in having a discussion with you though is there? It has been appallingly handled at times here in the UK. There have been some good decisions too, but generally they outweigh the bad. However, when your viewpoint is so blinkered, there is little point in engaging. Perhaps in your head thats a signal that you've won, or that people are hiding from your well-presented arguments, but its equally likely to be pro-Boris fatigue.
