So sorry for Big Mama first I heard was at work last night. Saw Gerry Francis on SS News! He seemed to think or hope that.
This does not end Mama's career? Must be a really bad injury, for his sake I hope not.
Said that he collapes during a training session! He might not be a six foot version of Pele but his heart is a big as a bucket. ONE thing Mama did do is give it 100% unlike some you already mentioned.

A little harsh if I may say so Jub...he has been a great servant to the club, but I can't see him coming back from this one...do you?.

 

The thing is, he's always BEEN a hard-worker, but now he is of no value to the club, he's a not a 'Premiership' player, he's not that higher standard. Now he is slow, sluggish and never wins anything in the air. Thanks for all you've done for Stoke, Mama, now its time to move on

 

I agree with you Jub whole-heartedly,it was just the 'get rid' reference...maybe I'm just a big softie in me old age.

I hope for his sake that it is not as bad as it sounds. I think he's past his best and has struggled at this level, but i would like to see him in a Stoke shirt again even if it is in an early cup game or two next season, before Jub puts him out to pasture or has him shot.

with regards to mama, last year i would have said CHEERS BIG GUY & thanks for your time at STOKE.

Now this year i would have loved to have him up top, instead of paying 8 MILL for that lazy bastard (sell him in the summer for a loss ) & a guy who cant be arsed just wants a payday for 2 years ( but my shoulder & knees are knackered ).

So that leaves us with super Johnny Walters & our midfielders who dont score.

like i said earlier in the thread without carew we would be shagged.
