2-1 (Kane, Lucas) Unfortunately, we'll be 2-0 up by the 25th minute, so the rest will be an insufferable mess that is easily avoided
Bale, Lucas and Vini won't be involved, all due to injury/illness I mean, that's part of the reason Vini won't be involved...
Well, things are not going quite to plan, are they! And trying to sit on a 1-0 lead for 89+ minutes was a far too risky strategy. Especially when key players (Son, Kane, Hojbjerg) have been over-used, and are currently operating at about 75%. A few weeks ago we were boasting that we had every position covered by a decent second choice player. What ever happened to that? And what has Sid Vinicius done wrong, I wonder. Anyway, we have the potential within our ranks to pull out of the slide before it gets too late. This is a good chance to do so. And this Christmas carol seemed to me an appropriate one to use. Happy New Year, guys (including especially Maggie!) In the bleak midwinter, fans begin to moan, Spurs have stalled, and now are falling like a stone. Yes, we’ve fallen, sliding slow, sliding slow – But it’s still December, many games to go! Our early form, though promising, we could not sustain. Our key players seem worn out – Hojbjerg, Son and Kane! In the bleak midwinter EL scores were nice. But PL points have slipped away, more than once or twice. It’s time for him, whom certain fans worship night and day, To change his style - that is, to try another way; This trademark stuff that we’ve seen really is a bore - And bore-and-lose I can’t take any more. PL teams are fallible, consistency is rare: City and United showing signs of wear; Liverpool and Chelsea are also hit-and-miss; Arsenal are struggling – all wind-and-p***. Now we’re playing Fulham, Parker’s also-rans; Please get back on track now, for us loyal fans. Son and Kane and Reguilon should tear them apart. Win 3-0 on Wednesday – that would be a start! Prediction: Spurs 3 Fulham 0 Scorers: Son, Kane, Reguilon Cheers, Spurf!
Great way to end the year with a beautiful carol and such clever words. If only the team would perform so consistently well as our Audrey, we would all be a lot happier! COYS
