Agreed, need to break through the lines. Tough opponent. Personally ill be pretty happy if we can get a point against these lot after the last few seasons.
I honestly think the team has been told to play down the right, and has been for most of the season. KWP is outstanding and full of youth whereas Bertrand is steady but not getting any younger.
I'd like to see Armstrong on as he's more likely to pick a pass than most others. He'll also get beyond Che which gives them something else to think about.
All the other players seem to know where to go or what to do whereas Moussa seems a bit lost as he has to think what to do. He has talent but maybe some talent (like Boufal?) can’t be trained or shackled and have to be able to just work off instinct - that doesn’t work with our system.
Credit to Fabianski for JWP missing the free kick. His position was quite central more or less daring him to go for that corner. Theo is the bright spark. Adams passing a bit like Armstrong has been recently. Work needed on timing runs forward and WTF are we doing at free kicks? Are we relying on VAR?
They've started this half with real intent... Yarmolenko keeps trying to get it onto his left foot... Need to be careful with that
