So you think these people who murder and rape have a fair trial when they are proved innocent. I will tell how they are innocent because the lass who I know whose a barrister takes on a case where the prosecutor is Benny off crossroads that’s how they are innocent but you go on believe what you like.

Personally I think they were a panic measure in an attempt to be seen as reacting to the situation without working out who was going to work in them

The jury are presented with all available evidence, supported by witnesses and experts and directed by a judge, then 12 people give their verdict.

It's not flawless but it's a system respected, and often copied, worldwide.

Do you have a better idea?

FFS man, it's their duty to give the best possible defence.

They're not there to decide who's innocent and who's guilty.

You may as well blame the jurors who actually make the decision.

It is an essential premise of the law that the accused is innocent until proven guilty. The defence do not have to prove the innocence of their client. The prosecution have to prove that the accused is guilty. If there is reasonable doubt, then the accused remains innocent as the prosecution have not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty. It is the responsibility of the prosecution to prove guilt, so if a miscarriage of justice has occurred with a guilty accused then it is the prosecution at fault.

i have already shown you proof that some are downright liars which you fail to acknowledge

DISGRACED solicitor Phil Shiner's tank-chasing law firm has finally been shut down by a court. Shiner's company made millions of pounds bringing scores of unfounded cases against soldiers alleging mistreatment of locals in the Iraq War.

except when downright liars come forward years after the trial with fresh lies as happened in NI, the main prosecution witness has died

then why have a barrister costing thousand be appointed to the killers of Lee Rigby THEY CUT OFF HIS HEAD SHOUTING ALLA AKBA but the lawyer was trying to get them off when they had video evidence

So if someone kills someone but the prosecution can’t prove it he didn’t kill that person so he’s innocent
