No they're part of the bedrock of a judicial system that endeavours to give everyone a fair trial.

Many people, over the years, have been wrongly convicted after being suspected of being a rapist or child murderer then freed when new evidence appears.

It's not for you, me or a defence solicitor to be judge & jury and throw an accused person under a bus.

The duty of a lawyer is crystal clear, it's to act on the instructions of their client.

There are enough wrongful convictions despite the presence of defence lawyers ...

... without them it would be a return to the days of summary justice.

Our judicial system is part of what makes the country respected around the globe and something we should all be proud of.

they already had paid legal assistance before they were sentenced and after serving their time, they get an injunction an hour before the flight takes off deliberately trying to make it too expensive to send them back, The only way this will change is when one of the ****ers daughters or sons are murdered by them,

Perhaps we should just have concentration camps and execution squads ...

... we could do with a final solution.

    Good example.

"Six Irishmen were arrested within hours of the blasts, and in 1975 sentenced to life imprisonment for the bombings. After 16 years in prison their convictions were declared unsafe and unsatisfactory, The episode is seen as one of the worst miscarriages of justice in British legal history."
