I think that is probably the end of the line for Altior isn't it? Even if Nube Negre has come on over the summer that is a max 160 performance, putting Altior mid-150s and never travelled. Really pleased for the Skeltons though, they are having some season.
In the bumper at Wetherby like Highstakesplayer. On form and breeding will certainly handle the heavy ground. 4/1 best price I could get.
Looked very impressive, was well supported prior to the off also which indicates they were confident of his ability. They'll be going for a graded race next, possibly at the Dublin racing festival, I can't think if there is a juvenile race at that off the top of my head right now but I'd wait to judge him from the next day rather than get too hyped up about him just yet, but that looked exciting.
Didn't Altior run there or thereabouts against the usual opposition? I think a fine display by Nube Negra may be being overlooked.
It was the wet sail wind operation that turned him into Pegasus, it is a rarely used technique in the modern era but the Sketlons gave him three wind operations within a week and it increases flat speed by up to 7mph, whilst allowing you to tank into any race, over any distance on any ground. Genius really. Not many trainers know how to administer the wet sail wind operation, but credit to them.
Apparently so. And Epatante might be in season. And every other horse of his that has been beaten has an excuse. I am sick of the rubbish spouted by that yard.
