Before the UK joined the EEC I worked at a company that traded with Europe. He explained that they made things for the UK market and adapted them to sell in Europe if necessary. He didnt see it as a big deal. You would think that plenty of exporters would have markets which preferred things in a different way to the UK market so if they wanted to get sales they would have to adapt. People seem to think that if the EU has certain rules for the Single Market that is all an exporter should think about. They don't realise that French people may not want exactly what Polish people want.

Why are people comparing what Europe was 50 years ago to what it is now? Your Government is advising you to take travel insurance, you can't travel unless you've 6 months on your passport, you have to declare taking cash (even to NI lolz) the EU isn't just the Single Market like it was when yous old feckers were in your 20s

It's because immature people can't imagine life different to being in the EU.
Do you think you shouldn't get travel insurance if you travel abroad?
You can travel to the USA without 6 months on your passport. You should complain to the EU - it's their rule you don't seem to like.
You don't have to declare taking cash unless it's more than 10,000 euros or equivalent.
