I've just joined the Leeds Supporters' Trust (http://lufctrust.squarespace.com) and wondered if many others were members? I have a nieve hope that one day it coud have 20,000 members who could raise enough money to get rid of Bates.
I should also have said that it's free to join or a £5 if you want to become a shareholder. Bargain!
i'm setting off in five to meet the others and practice, then its at 5pm. **** it, if I fail I fail. See you'se tomorrow. me and LIW are off to the Dogs tomorrow night so it will be nice to be out
It's well worth doing - there's no bad effect that joining for free could have, after all, is there? Fans with any viewpoint are welcomed, and as it stands, the fanbase of Leeds United is fragmented and isolated. We need a unified voice with respectable leadership. From what I can tell, the Trust is best poised to deliver that, and for anyone who missed it, Nigel Martyn (their honorary president) came out with an excellent statement in the YEP the other day which I can send you a link for. I certainly hope this organization continues to go from strength to strength.
