That leads us to the penultimate game of the year and it's a pretty tricky one. Wolves are currently midtable, but it's a tight and compact division at the moment. Their erratic form is tough to predict and we'll need to be on our game to win this one. Can Mourinho take the three points or will we come unstuck in the Midlands? Last season was Wolves' second back in the Premier League and they continued their impressive performances. They maintained their league form despite a decent showing in the Europa League and all that entails. A final day loss to Chelsea and our draw with Everton dropped them into 7th place, which ultimately cost them. Arsenal nicked their Europa place by winning the FA Cup, so they lost the chance improve there. Their long campaign finally ended with a 1-0 loss to Sevilla in Germany in the quarter-finals. They've found this season a little tougher and their results have been rather unpredictable. Winning and losing six league games, while drawing only two probably demonstrates that quite well. An early League Cup exit to our midweek opponents Stoke wasn't ideal, either. Things have been complicated further by the serious injury to their main striker, Raul Jimenez. He's still their top scorer with four, though he's matched by Pedro Neto. Our visit to Molineux started well last time, as Moura jinxed past their defence and rifled home early on. They reacted well to going behind though, as we sought to defend the lead. They created a number of chances and dominated possession, for the most part. Dier hit the post before the consistent threat of Traore saw them draw level in the second half. They looked more likely to go on and win, but Vertonghen headed home late on to take the points: The match at our places started similarly, but had a very different ending. Bergwijn gave us an early lead, as an Aurier cross was spurned by both Moura and Alli before he put it away. Some awful defending by Dier and Tanganga allowed Doherty to level it up quite quickly, though. Aurier restored the lead before half-time and we had the bulk of possession and territory. Two quick breaks allowed them to turn it around, as Jota and Jimenez scored to win it: Tanganga and Lo Celso missed the midweek game and are still out. Jimenez and Jonny are out for the hosts, while Dendoncker is also a doubt. Neither side has any suspensions. Very questionable line-up. Don't understand it. Can't be resting players in this game when next up is Fulham. Playing both our LBs, so one of them will be overplayed over this period. I think Jose is looking at stopping them as opposed to playing our game. Worried about the pace of Adama? Going to be a looooooong 90 minutes me thinks.
