im still relatively new here. From little snippets I have assumed he’s in high end security but potentially also a driver or a butler :D. Or maybe all 3. Or a body man.

I've blundered my way through my entire life mate, from bouncer to bodyguard, and now look after properties for absent millionaires ...

... at 65 I'm virtually retired so in SW France looking after a large estate which is sometimes rented out.

It's all been great fun but totally chaotic and a bit scary at times.

I've got a feeling he will respect RSM and not put his own name on it.
Sponsors name then Sunderland Stadium of Light is my best guess

Aye, they can sell the naming rights to the stadium as far as I'm concerned. Don't have any great affection for the current name, it's nowt like Roker Park . Obviously hope they'd carefully choose the sponsor (not something awful like the tampax stadium of light, hopefully not a bookie or loan shark or owt). Would also prefer if it was "the (sponsor) stadium of light" rather than just completely changing the name, but within reason if they can get a good deal for it, it makes sense to do it. We'll all just call it the stadium anyway.

I wonder if they, if they haven't already, speak to Bob Murray regarding his thoughts for the club. I know he's come out publicly staying that Short didn't and he didn't seem to have time for the dynamic duo but I think it would be a positive to have him totally on board.

In these times the stadium name is virtually irrelevant, look at Man City, Arsenal, etc, which are just advertising.

To me it's important that the name reaches beyond the UK.

We wouldn't care what the name is, but if it sells merchandise and streams to Uruguay, Uganda or the USA that's more important imo.

Spot on, if it increases the brand and our revenue streams that's all that really matters.

The more money coming in that isn't from the owners pocket the better in my opinion.

The way football is ran now, ie FFP I see a time coming where we have little option to be honest, man city arsenal have renamed their stadiums to create an income, if there doing it the rest have simply to try to compete financially. hopefully the name (SOL) says within the name

Building the 'brand' is the most important & the only way we will grow

I think we are demanding, but in a good way. We aren't mag-like in demanding trophies and expecting to win things without anything to back it up. What we do though is expect to be competitive, to try and do our best and try and live up to our history. We want people, be it players, coaches or owners, to do their best and give it their all. But we don't suffer fools gladly, won't accept people going through the motions or not trying and if things don't work out we will ask why, we'll not be happy clappers, just be happy with our lot and accept excuses, but we will accept reasons and be practical. It's not a bad way to ge, in my opinion.

Just stumbled across this on Facebook from yesterday regarding RAWAs 'strong message' to the new owner. They are getting a bit of a hiding in the comments.

Now you have me and most of the Mackem nation intrigued , take it your Sunday telephone updates are still coming through on a regular basis . The SOL will always be the SOL even if it has a prefix though I would draw the line at the Sports Direct Stadium of Light though I am sure Mike Ashley would love to wind up our neighbours supporters I can’t see that one happening! Renaming the SOL would bring some some misgivings but if it brings in the cash to kickstart the massive rebuild project so be it , the wellbeing of the club is the most important and if the money and heightened profile is their so be it . Google is a marvellous tool to find anything about anything isn’t it - let the intrigue continue!

RAWA need to put their cock back inside their pants IMO, they really do get above their station far too often. Can't stand it when people think they speak for or represent an opinion of the supporters of our great club. They don't. If the fans are happy or otherwise, we'll ( collectively ) leave them in no doubt when we get back into the stadium. Until then, and especially in these uniquely strange times, we need to let the new broom have time to sweep clean, and set out their plans for the club that they have just rescued from the jaws of the scrapheap, before anybody starts laying down conditions in the name of the fans. They do not speak for me.

I'm hoping that, whether FPP are still involved or not, the plans will be shared with KLD, why not?

It'll be interesting to see what transpires and what relation it bears to 'the original'.
