Can't agree John ... we were good value for a point... their first goal was fortunate as was our second... but we had more possession and more goal attempts than a team full of 'superstars' ... and despite Glen Hoddle giving MOTM to snidey Penandez, Tielemans looked the best player on the park ...

Fernandez is the best player in the league, not his best game today but a goal and an assist. World class. Ole should have parked the bus after his goal but he didn’t, cos he’s a clown.

 

I said a bit, I think if we missed the quality of chance that they did such as Rashford and Fernandes I’d be feeling like we should have won so by the same token on the other side I feel we we slightly fortunate to get away with a few. Doesn’t mean I don’t think we played quite well for the most part which we did but they should have won that and to not see that seems a bit biased to me. I call it how I see it. And possession doesn’t win games, creating great chances and of course taking them does.
Fernandes should have been off though for sure.

What's the consensus on Boxing Day boozing ?

Now 20 plus years ago this wouldn't be up for debate as I'd already be down the pub and the beers would be well and truly flowing. These days I have to pace myself so I'm thinking about 5-30ish and then steady away from there.

Gonna watch Fulham and hope for a Saints but the beers are chilling
