My daughter lives next to Adenbrookes hospital and she's been lucky with the flooding down there. Either side of the new A14 is under water and the A1 was completely under water by Peterborough on the way back. There was a bit of a diversion which turned me to drink by the time I got home.....
Feck, the rains been terrible Jim. Its shut my golf club again Me and wifey are hoping to visit a cousin down there next year when this **** is over.
Before my daughter split from her fella she used to live out on the fens at Wicken. We had two Springers at the time and went for a walk on the fens. The pair of bastards thought it was Christmas, plunged into the water and went for anything that moved. It was really busy with bird watchers and it was mayhem trying to get them back. They both caught a duck each and proudly brought them back to us. Thankfully not long after that my daughter left her bloke and I've never been back...
Been out for an early morning Christmas run, had my breakfast and going for a swim shortly before it gets too hot. Another traditional Christmas Morning in the Jakarta Toon household.
Christmas with my clan today, 13 of us.Then off to my daughter's for a few drinks and a dip in the hot tub. Happy Christmas to all.
Well the kids are still in their pajamas, wife at work and I'm thinking beans on toast for lunch. Feels like a board game day I do like board games
