I'm the same, not a fan of sweet drink but the Diplomatico is really nice and very moorish. Luv recommended the 12yr old ElDorado and it is very very nice.
Yeah I’m gonna get a bottle of that in too I reckon. Got some Diplomatico and a nice Cognac too. I’m not a big drinker so they will probably last me through to the spring tbh.
Choice of tipple tonight is a nice Arran malt, when I was 16, got home on Christmas Eve night, my old man gave me a malt and we toasted in Christmas day, we did that for the next 2 years before he passed, every Christmas eve since I've lifted a glass of malt to him and will continue to do so until my last.
Good man. You maybe didn't know Burly, who this thread is in honour of. So we will all raise a glass/can whatever to those who have gone.
There was a time in my life where I’d think nothing of seeing off 3/4 bottle of rum in one night along with so many beers I’d lose count A gram of mdma, few lines of coke and a load of spliffs. Happy with a wee dram every now and again these days
you would have loved the guy (despite being a sunderland fan). his posh pissed up tales were legendary...
Genuinely we had 2 really great blokes. Sadly Burly is no more, but this thread will go on. The other is having health problems, but probably the strongest willed man ever,
No mate ... had a first beer around lunchtime ... mind you, have made up for it since ... pretty mellow yellow around now
