    Sorry, District.

I would rather spend £25 to watch a local derby in the Carling v Rangers or Fulham, but we do not sell out.

Most fans would rather spend £50 odd to £70 to watch Swansea in the Prem, hence we sold out this match.

So I reckon any new ground would not see prices to Prem games reduced that much.

Number crunchers would rather see 45k at £50-£70 say than 60k at £40-£50, even with the extra spends on beers, shirts, programmes from extra numbers.

Stay where we are unless we can secure a zone 1/ 2 London location near a tube. We are a London club; I could not take travelling to the outskirts of 'london' like northolt to watch our club

There is now another name to add into the mix ..... London Wasps.

With the odious Steve Hayes having suffered a setback whilst trying to con Wycombe District Council into funding a state-of-the-art stadium by the M40 in Buckinghamshire, he has put Wasps up for sale.**

A new owner of Wasps could easily envisage bringing the team back into the capital and that means finding a stadium.

It could mean a ground share in a new stadium with the Rs ... or Chelski ... or Foolham. It might also mean a buyer for Loftus Road outright if the Rs move out (although that is much less likely as the club would want to sell the real estate for as much as they could get ... ie for housing.)

** Hayes bought into Wasps in Wycombe, he then took over control of both Wasps and Wycombe Wanderers. He had a plan whereby the two clubs would play in a brand new stadium (funded by the local council) and he could sell off Adams Park for a fortune. This was eventually turned down by the council after enormous amounts of pressure by the locals. Hayes mis-management of both clubs has seen him pour lots of money into both (in the form of loans ... sound familiar?) to very little effect. In fact Wasps finances are in a real mess.

    BEWARE OF SHYSTERS.

You are probably right, I've never been there (is it near Ealing?) as I don't frequent the suburbs. Is it full of Chavs? I can't stand Ealing either

You can cherry-pick weak attendances (Tube strike that day before the Cup final) to make yourselves feel better.

Spurs had Div 1 attendances of 9k and 10k to watch much better players: Hoddle, waddle and co.

Our all-time average 31000 proves we have a history of good support predating Roman.

we were fifth in the all-time average chart in 2004 having had a lot less success than teams above us (Arsenal, Spurs, Utd, Pool) and many teams below us (Villa Newc Everton City).

You guys are just going to have to accept that our fan base is going to get bigger and Chelsea fc as part of Europe's Big 4 are here to stay.

Sadly they will never be one of the big clubs because 1. they have no class (do you see Manu/Arse/Liver/City/Spurs) on our boards trying to 'big it up'? The answer is no because they don't need to. 2. they whole CFC project is built on dodgy Roman's cash and they are so much in debt that if he leaves they will be playing Conference football.
Never seen 2 desperate muppets on our boards so much. They must be envious of us having a proper club.

3 RBLOCK tickets <laugh> best one of the year!

You moved away from Chiswick when you were two, and have been living in Poole ever since. The pubs of Bournemouth collectively yawn when you start going off about "Chels" and the good old days in the Shed when you were shight.

The tube system doesn't go as far as Surrey.

    excuses, excuses.

Europe's big 4? Are you for real?

How many champions leagues have you won?

    Here's the answer for you.

We must be 'cherry picking' quite a lot now.
How about these massive Chelsea gates:
    Chelsea average gate
    1987 17K
    1988 20k
1989 15k (must have been a season long tube strike)
    1990 21k
    1991 20K
    1992 18k
    1993 18k
    1994 19k
    1995 21k

'1989 15k (must have been a season long tube strike)'

We had terraces closed for the Boro play-off riot and had some bad crowds at the beginning of that season.

Even massive German clubs like Bayern Munich have dipped under 20k. Celtic and Rangers both did in the 80s as did Ajax, City, and others.

We are part of the European big 4 in terms of revenue, merchandising, prestige, team quality, global profile. And we are three miles down the road for you. Bad luck!

The revenue part must be the amount of goods John Terry's mum steals from shops

    and

The merchandising part must be the amount of gear John Terry's dad sells.

You got a lot of prestige the night John Terry slipped and missed the penalty in Moscow. We were breaking our ****e laughing, still are in fact.

For season 2010-2011, there are 27 European teams who get bigger attendances than you on a weekly basis, ie Chelsea are 28th on the list (see wikipedia).

3 miles down the road isn't far enough. Please go to Russia.
