Thats a superb gesture @Prehab26 you must be an amazing person to offer this, hope you have a wonderful Christmas mate you thoroughly deserve it
Similar here mate, the wife has it and the Grandparents were due over for Xmas and it's also my 4 year olds birthday on 28th and that's gone down the pan as well. I know I shouldn't have but I booked a test for the parents yesterday just to be safe because I want to know whether they have it or not and waiting for the results still. I pray to God they don't come back positive! My wife is absolutely fine and only has a bloody blocked nose! We were convinced she was gonna be negative and wasn't even gonna get a test but work (she's a nurse) told her she had to. Just as well I suppose but I'm convinced it's a false positive! All the best pal and I hope it's not too bad a case of it and try and have as good a festive season as possible and make up for the lost time after everyone is clear.
Likewise mate, I've had a headache and no sense of smell since Tuesday, best to keep the old uns safe mate. I don't even feel like drinking!!
Is there not a delivery type scenario from one of the foodbanks etc. Or a book a taxi to pick stuff up? Where do you live?
Thanks for everyone's offer, I've had to message work to tell them I'm not in tomorrow and a lad from work has offered to drop stuff off at door. Thanks again everyone. Not been on this forum long but definitely feel the sense of community. Merry xmas to you all. Oh and haway the takeover!
Most people on here are just common or garden Sunderland supporters who want to believe in the club ... ... it's like going back to the 70's when we all felt that we were in it together. Have a Happy Christmas mate.
We weren't that good for most of that era either ('73 apart).. There is a common theme following Sunderland !!!
