If you are already living there you are automatically entitled to it. That will no longer be the case etc...

You obviously know nothing about France and their strict rules for permanent residency. You also need a Securité Sociale number, health insurance and to have paid tax for a certain amount of years to apply for citizenship (you're going to pay a fortune without it).

Yet another uninformed Brexiter claiming to be knowledgeable.

It was a piece explaining the situation, quoting the Tories' own negotiator ffs. You lot should really start reading beyond the headline of the articles you quote on here.

I've mates in various EU countries, they've all been told by the local officials not to worry, as they'll be sorted. It's not as if they want even more empty properties and reduced spending in these Countries. I guess the difference is, if you can support yourself, or if you're going there to be a burden on them.

"It is understood the agreement does not have a role for the European Court of Justice, the EU's top court, and the two sides have agreed a system to sort out disputes that follows international law, rather than EU law, our political editor said.

In addition, she said the two sides have agreed to phase new fishing arrangements over five years, with the UK catching as much as two-thirds of the fish in UK waters by the end of the transition."
