Thompson booked for a silly one on Hojbjerg. Going nowhere.

1-0 HT. Bale scored the only goal, but didn't do a lot else.
We're winning and we look in control, yet it all feels a bit sluggish and off-pace.
I'd take this scoreline at full-time, to be honest, but I think we're going to have to raise our game at some point.

Good solid first half, well in control but would be nice to be further ahead

I think you're being kind. Or my expectations need to be toned down.
I see 11 Premiership level players who have been together for months, playing pretty regularly together in EL, yet not really linking up.
And don't get me started on some of the passing!

Spurs are well in control, their keeper has kept them in it.

Stoke have been organised and compact, while lacking ambition.
They've kept 23 clean sheets in 46 games this calendar year and I think that you can see why.
We've had a lot of the ball, looked quite progressive with our play and still lacked incision.
They're hanging in there and restricting our chances to a few here and there.

Have we looked great? No. I think that they deserve some credit for that, though.
We need to up it a gear or two and get the subs right or we could get sucker punched.

I hear Winks managed to play a forward pass...
It really has been a strange year.

Not watching the game but hope Bale is ripping Charlie Adam apart!

Charlie Adam has returned to his home town of Dundee at the grand old age of 62:

Great ball by Alli for Moura, who takes a terrible touch. <doh> Then Alli misses a ball put in for him by Kane. Offside? Possibly.

Moura down in the box. Looked like several fouls to me, but the ref's not interested.

Bale starting against Wolves is the most likely suggestion

So why not have Bergwijn or Clarke on the bench instead?

1-1. First bit of attacking quality and Thompson equalises. Lloris beaten at his near post. Awful all round.

That was far too easy for them, our defence got pulled all over the place and Lloris gets beaten at the near post.

Not for the first time this season, we haven’t woken up for the second half.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Lamela imminently, just to up our tempo.
