I see Trump has refused to sign off on a 'Corvid stimulus bill' which is aimed at giving $600 dollars to each American. Trump has said that this is not enough and that much fo the money allocated to this bill is, as he says, wasted. After reading through where much of this money is being distributed I have to agree with him. The bill allots millions of dollars to foreign countries whom, as he says, will use it buy arms from Russia. Corvid? How is that gong to help anyone? There are other huge sums being given away to little countries that, while they may be suffering from the effects of the virus, are in no way linked to the American's own problem. Trump says that these payments should be stopped and the money distributed to Americans. Unless there is underlying agendas here, I can't see anything wrong with that.

Also what I read was he asked for changes and has not said explicitly that he won’t sign it. It’s an odd one because senior people in his own administration were involved drafting it.
That's what makes it so odd to me. He must have been in on the drafting, too. However, good on him for thinking of his own people first.
Reports I read say he was too busy on his campaign to undermine democracy. Also that some of the things he is complaining about are not actually in that bill, but another one. I don’t pretend to understand the detail so can’t comment further, I know though with Trump you do need to know the details as much of what he says seems plausible but is not always accurate (like given the cash so enemies can buy arms from Russia - plays well doesn’t it, I have no idea if the Bill actually included large sums to do that). pethsps someone who really knows the facts could comment.
