What's a mope? I've seen it on here before and often wondered. Well, not really, I just remembered it there when I read this article.
That's just the Ibrox faithful's slant on it's meaning. Trust some of them to come up with someone a 14 year-old would think funny. A "Mope" is a person who is continually moaning and complaiing. Seeing as how GL is always venting his spleen about Celtic FC,he could be considered a "Mope". I could also doubtless come up with some random sectarian meaning for the invented "M.O.P.E" acronym. I'm sure anyone with half a brain could cobble something together from those letters which would offend our Glasgow brethren. Unfortunately I have a complete brain so I won't bother, but knock yourself out GL (hopefully literally) and try and see if you can guess what I might have said MOPE means.
