And I thought his engine didn't shift down toward the end either which I was pleased with.

Naby Keita did very well yesterday, I hope that he can stay fit for the rest of the season.

 

Is Bobby back? He scored two excellent goals and got an assist? My MOTM yesterday.

Still can’t believe how ruthless we were in front of goal, especially after the poor finishing vs Spurs. One of the rare occasions this season where things actually went our way for once!

 

Watching on MOTD now. That close control for his first goal - that is Bobby back to his best.

 

Plus Chambo's return is always good for both midfield and attack

 

It was good to see Mané so thoroughly pissed off at being hooked.
Like I said a few days ago, tiredness is as much mental as physical - when you're enjoying yourself you don't feel it.

Unexpected but very welcome result. Minamino well disciplined, for the first time I've seen and it paid off. Every goal was a masterpiece, really couldn't decide which one was the best. Great job all round.

 

Hopefully, because imagine the form Jota will have to show to get back in the starting XI !

I still can't believe we're top of the table and topped the CL group with all of our injuries. Bodes well for the rest of the season. Never mind VVD, Alisson, Trent or Thiago, there's one man we need in our team to make things happen (and I'm not saying his name, not jinxing that ****!), it's amazing how little people rate him outside of Liverpool.

The thing that worried me though, is it wasn't our kids filling in that didn't look good enough for a time...

... It was our star players who looked like they drank a few pints of Guinness before the match and it was sloshing around in their stomach as they ran.

I recognise the look because me and my teammates did it occasionally when I played in the over-30 five aside league here on nights we had double-headers.

 

He does more than just that to be fair, his forward passing has been pretty good for some time now too but that is criminally under rated

 

Even now other teams fans don't rate him and long may it continue as it always amuses me .

 

He's not pretty, and he doesn't play silky-sexy football.

Fans would rather see step overs than hard work.

 

Don't forget the funny gait.

Henderson has the right combination of being humble off the pitch and being a leader on it, with all that entails. Unsung hero.
