Huntingdon 12.35 The Tin Miner

Last 2 wins came on 2nd run after a long break. Good 2nd last time out (winner has gone in again). Stable amongst the winners recently. Market support today. Could be hard to catch from the front.

Maybe its interesting to know for you what Ben Pauling wrote on his site about Get Prepared (runs in the 12:05 at Huntingdon today) who cost 60,000 after winning a point to point

"Having enjoyed his time out, he has finally become the horse I hoped and he looks fabulous after a great summer. He has returned into training and is showing me all the signs of a good horse. He jumps very well and I would expect him to be winning novice hurdles in the near future. The plan would be to go straight hurdling this season as we have allowed him plenty of time to mature and I feel a bumper at this point simply wouldn't be necessary.

He is by Black Sam Bellamy and would stand at 16.2hh. I would have him down as more of a 2 1/2 mile hurdler that will stay 3 miles in time and is undoubtedly a chaser in the making. "

Ben Pauling has a good record with his runners at Huntingdon over the last 5 seasons and has been amongst the winners recently.

At 16/1 on offer worth an each way bet.

Good morning all and good luck Nass,

It seems we could be off to a flyer at Huntingdon today with the opening two races having a selection in them. So I'm going to try and make it 3. I'm interested in STRONG RESEMBLANCE in the 1.05 @ 10/1. Has a 434 day absence to overcome but would seem to be one of the horses for courses, has had 3 runs here and has 3 wins so maybe after today he will be 4/4. And then race 4 PM to make it 3/3 at this track :)

I like Severus Alexander in the 1.35 Huntingdon for a small each way. A soft ground winner on the flat for Joseph O'Brien the horse has shown a bit of promise for Gavin Cromwell on first its 2 starts when 4th at Leopardown and Downpatrick. Completely lost its way after that. Maybe the change of scenery and the combination of first time visor with refitted tonge tie has a positive effect. Tabitha Worseley who has a good record at Huntingdon takes off valuable 5 lb. Obviously this can't be a confident selection but hopefully Severus Alexander can outrun His odds.

In the 2.05 Leskinfere could grab some price money at big odds. Small Owner/Trainer John Cornwall earns most of his money with runners at Huntingdon. This 18 race maiden likes testing conditions and its last visit to Huntingdon was one of the better runs when 4th of 12.
Wouldn't be the biggest surprise If Leskinfere will be plugging on when others have enough. There is some money coming down for the horse today.
