Sian has micrometers for eyes when it comes to off sides. As a general rule, if a woman works in a male-dominated field she will be excellent....otherwise criticism would drive her out. Mediocre men will get away with it, but not mediocre women.
HP sauce may be in short supply it's made in the Netherlands. Alternative sauces can be used on your pre match bacon sarnie.
I doubt if the modern player is allowed a bacon sarnie with brown sauce on match days mate. Red sauce only, and no streaky bacon.
I see you like to live dangerously on the sarnie front; nothing like the risk of a squirt of egg yolk all down your new Christmas jumper, to keep you focussed.
Yeah that's me living on the wild side, I've been known to include some black pudding to. How bad is that? Lovely with a mug of tea as a matchday breakfast.
Can’t beat a bit of black pudding. Mustard is an absolute must have - I’m a recent convert to Dijon, but Colman’s will do. But the highlight of a proper fry up imo is baked beans, with brown sauce stirred into the tomato sauce. Loads of black pepper. Fried bread. Mushrooms optional. Just remembered I’m in tier 4 and the local caff will be shut for the foreseeable
I'm sorry....the only condiment for sausage or bacon sandwiches is brown sauce. Fact. Btw, it will be a good thing for Saints to beat Fulham.
Best in a greasy spoon, a disappearing feature now days. On the list for when we can visit again along with pie, mash and liqueur. On the way to the match we've come over for of course.
Oh yeah, Fulham. Doubt you can get a decent fry up in Fulham, it’s all smashed avocado on artisan sourdough toast round there. I’m confident we’ll give em a proper stuffing on Boxing Day anyway.
It will be a welcome 3 points Fran. Why not go crazy and make it an egg, bacon and sausage sarnie? Go on you know you want to.
Glad I had my cereal before reading this thread otherwise I would have defrosted the bacon in the freezer. Looking forward to my Christmas left over fried breakfast, eggs, pigs in blankets and bubble squeak. If we get a HP sauce shortage I think we need to overthrow the government, implement a temporary military junta then invade the Netherlands to liberate all stocks of HP sauce and restart production. This countries bacon, sausages, eggs and fried breakfasts can't be eaten without it! Apologies for bringing politics into the thread but I feel quite passionate about HP sauce. Oh, a win against Fulham is vital if we want to keep pace at the top.
The beauty of London is that you are never too far from a greasy spoon cafe. I found a decent one a couple of minutes walk from North Chessington train station, where even the toast was hot. Fried slice and mushrooms are mandatory for me. Oh, and something about Fulham. I hope Richard Osman is so upset by the result on Boxing Day that he has to write a question for one of his quizzes that starts with “Which London team, on Boxing Day 2020, lost 0-10, setting a record for the greatest ever home defeat in the Premier League?”
Assuming that Ings isn't available to start, I'm not sure I'd be reverting back to Theo up front. Not that I'm against him playing there, it's just that he's been excellent for us in his past two games back at RM. I'd prefer to keep him there.
