There are some genuine racists in this country as there are in EVERY country. The fact is that like in most other countries they are a tiny minority, probable smaller in number than any other minority who live here.
Will they ever cease to exist? doubtful (anywhere) but they will always be pointless in the great scheme of things.

    The Brexit deal.
supposedly there are two main sticking points, level playing field and fishing.
Now forgive my ignorance on this but, if we end up with "no deal" then doesn't that make us an independent sovereign state with the right to protect our waters?

Why the **** are the EU kicking off about this when there is a real deal to discuss, they lose the waters anyway.

I’m sorry but no, I won’t forgive your ignorance. The ignorance of the likes of you has done irreparable damage to our country’s future, so if it’s all the same with you, I’d prefer it if you kept your ignorance to yourself in future. Thanks.

Nothing to do with resilience you moron. Before the tunnel there were a number of shipping routes across the channel which ceased operation once the tunnel was built.

The fly on the wall type documentary showing the goings on the background of the discussions gave quite an insight into the EU's attitude.

It's surprising the media don't seem so keen to rerun it now for some reason.

What a shower on both sides. I wished the UK had walked away from negotiations years ago. The EU never wanted to come up with a reasonable deal.

Yep, we should have gone all in early on, pushing for trade deals other than with the EU, and left it with them to get in touch if they wanted to talk. At that point, it would have been a bluff, but we're now in the same position, with less time and it's reality.

We didn't do it due to the interference from remainers. Most of the problem sits very squarely at their feet.

    QUIZ TIME

Just looking at a few other forums, and found this in a recent response to a comment.

Any guesses who they are referring to?

"I know that it is a total waste of time trying to explain anything of real world economics to left-wing trolls like you because you are incapable of understanding after Marxist brainwashing.

I can be reasonably confident that your response to this will be along similar lines to your previous ones because you have the attention span of a goldfish; and the goldfish is insulted at being compared to brain dead lefties."

Or we could have just remained in the EU.

Only the chronically stubborn and the wilfully ignorant fail to realise what a ****show we have created for ourselves, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Yep, it seems wherever he posts, he's so transparent, people see through him very quickly. He's so dim and lonely, he carries on regardless looking for 'fwends'.

You 'we', is quite apt, as much of the problem is certainly at the feet of you and your petulant ilk. You're a minority. two thirds of the electoral regions could see a reason. The bleating of the noisy minority, and remainers in the back office tried and failed to stick spokes in the works. The leave people bent over backwards to try to accommodate, but only staying chained to the EU would ever satisfy you, despite you knowing it wasn't a democratic option.

Yeah, I know. We had a vote and the stupid ****s won (by the narrowest of margins).

Working out well isn’t it? Everyone’s a winner.
