You're right about it being a forum and perfect spelling and grammar isn't necessary, but I'd argue against your first point. The days of crappy Nokias and slow motion texting are over (I'm writing this on a smartphone as we 'speak') and in days of qwerty keyboards on phones and predictive text (that actually encourages proper words) there's no real excuse for using late 90's txt spk. Twitter be damned.

Back on topic, he still hasn't played ten games for us yet, I'm not judging anyone by that, especially when I don't think he's been that bad. What terrifies me is the same people saying Lovenkrands isn't good enough for Premier League starts (which he isn't) despite his goals in the CC are also saying that Marveaux is miles better than Obertan based on the same opposition. He might be ace, but prejudice isn't helpful, whether it be 'Marveaux must be ace' or 'Obertans a Man U reject'.

    Give it time!

LOLZ, themz iz mad skilz, u iz tha man!

But seriously, I agree with the fact that good old fashioned English is something to preserve, especially in formal environments. But it's interesting how we communicate is changing (for better or for worse, as long as we understand each other, its evolving), so I don't see the need to completely scoff at all typos and txt language, especially in informal environments.

As for the CV - that is a joke, you dealt with it perfectly!
